Living Room
With the upstairs, I went with a black and navy color scheme. I placed the flocked Christmas in front of the bay window for a beautiful view from outside! I am always rearranging the furniture to try the tree in different locations from year to year.
The tree turned out completely magical! It will go into my top ten favorite trees that I have created!
I had found velvet navy ribbon at Michael’s that I layered on top of a wider gold ribbon. Layering ribbon is a fun way to create a unique look!
I have started a small obsession with wreaths on windows, mirrors, and wherever else I find a place to hang them!
I wrapped a gold ribbon and greenery around the barstools and added greenery at the knot. A simple way to add touches of Christmas to the dining room!
I decorated a little seating nook created by the stairs.
Entryway
In the entryway, a faux boxwood wreath on top of the mirror. Along with a couple of small trees.
Stairway
This year I kept the staircase simple. I attached a swag to the bottom stair post and added a little ribbon.
Dining Room
I was having fun with layering this year; I layered two different table runners on the table and lots of layered ribbon on the Christmas trees.
The centerpiece of the dining room is layers of candles in gold, silver, blue, and black.
I wrapped a gold ribbon and greenery around the dining room chairs, as well.
Kitchen
Gold mercury glass trees that I found at Home Good make a statement piece in the center of the island.
Basement
Since the basement update still not completed, patiently waiting on the furniture. I didn’t go crazy down here decorating for Christmas.
The color scheme for the basement is blush with a hint of maroon. I clustered a couple of trees in the corner.
Added a DIY gold garland to the fireplace mantel Learn how I created this garland here.
