I did a mini clean up in the kitchen by cleaning out and reorganizing three utensil drawers in my kitchen. Mini-organizing projects are my favorite. They only take an hour or two, and you get the benefits of having things in order.

The Drawers Before
Here are the before photos of the drawers.
Step 1 | Empty the Drawers
Take everything out. Get rid of unused and duplicate items. Wipe out the drawer with soap and warm water.
Step 2 | Measure Drawer for Liner
Measure the inside dimensions of the drawer box.
Step 3 | Cut the Liner
To maximize my liner material I decided to cut it short in the length in order to get three drawers liners instead of two out of the material. Cut the liner to size using a straight edge and exact-o knife.
Step 4 | Insert Liner into the Drawer
Since the liner was not the complete length of the drawer box I added double

Step 5 | Add Drawer Organizers + Items
I purchased new drawer organizers to help break up the drawers into smaller compartments to help keep items separated.
Silverware Drawer Reveal
I reused my existing bamboo silverware organized, but flipped the direction. Which put the most used utensils; spoons, forks, and knives at the front of the drawer for easy access. The rest is holding smaller barware items.
Kitchen Utensils + Gadgets Drawer Reveal
The second drawer down is filled with kitchen utensils and gadgets. Grouped together by category, for example, all the pizza cutters and tongs are each in their own slot.
Additional Utensils + Bread Drawer Reveal
The third drawer down, are less frequently used kitchen items such as serving utensils. This is also where we store the pot holders and bread. I LOVE these
