Each year I plant flower pots around the exterior of the house. From year to year, I play around with the plant selections and color schemes. This year I added color back to the front of the house. I went with a color scheme of fuschia, orange, and a touch of purple. And sprinkled in a couple of flamingos for a bit of whimsy! Here is a tour of my flower pots in the front of the house.

Along the side of the garage, I clustered three pots. I grouped a black, gray and white pot of varying sizes and shapes.
Here is a close of view of the cluster of pots.
PLANT SELECTIONS
In each pot, I like to have a thriller, multiple spillers, and fillers. Here are labeled photos of the flowers that I planted this year. When I spied these newer petunia varieties at my local greenhouse, I knew I wanted to build the color scheme around them. The two-toned color is beautiful!
Petunias are easy to care for annuals. With a vast variety of colors, you can always find one that works for your color scheme. They are one of my go-to spiller plants. They thrive in my full sun exposure.
GARAGE POTS
I have two identical pots on each side of the garage doors. These pots turned out to my favorites this year. I might even plant the same flowers in these pots next year. Something that I NEVER do.
