I have developed a slight obsession with mini wreaths this year. They are super cute and are a great way to decorate for the Christmas season. I have created a step-by-step tutorial showing you how to hang a wreath onto a window.

SUPPLIES
- 12″ Mini Wreath – I purchased mine at Michael’s
- 2.5″ Wide Navy Velvet Ribbon – I purchased mine at Michael’s
- Double Sided Tape – removable NOT permanent
- Suction Cup Hook
- Scissors
PLACE SUCTION CUP HOOK ONTO THE WINDOW
Stick your suction cup hook onto the glass of the window in the desired location.
PRO TIP: Wipe the back of the suction cup with a damp cloth. It tends to help the suction cup adhere better to the surface.
ADHERE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE
Cut a piece of double-sided tape slightly smaller than the width of the ribbon. Stick the piece of tape at the top of the window.
CUT A PIECE OF RIBBON
Cut a piece of ribbon to the desired length. Don’t worry about the ends of the ribbon yet; we will clean those up once we tie the ribbon.
HANG THE RIBBON
Fold the ribbon in half, at the fold, attach it to the piece of double-sided tape. Press the ribbon firmly to make sure it has adhered.
CUT A HOLE INTO RIBBON
Move the top piece of ribbon to the side. Where the backside of the ribbon hits the hook of the suction cup, cut a small hole into it. Do this by folding the ribbon in half and cut a small slit at the fold in the center.
HOOK THE RIBBON
Unfold the ribbon and place the hook through the hole you create on the back piece of ribbon.
HANG THE WREATH ONTO HOOK
Hang the mini wreath onto the hook which is poking through the back piece of ribbon. Make sure the top half of the ribbon is out of the way.
TIE THE ENDS OF RIBBON
Pull the bottom ribbon through the center of the wreath and tie the ends of the ribbon into a knot. You could tie a bow at this point as well. I chose to leave it only in a knot.
CLEAN UP THE ENDS OF THE RIBBON
Determine the final length that you want the ribbon tails to be. Cut the end at a 45-degree angle with scissors. Repeat on the other side, keeping the tail lengths the same.
STYLE THE RIBBON
Make any adjustments to the ribbon. I bent the ribbon tails to give it some shape, easy to do with wired ribbon.
IT’S THAT SIMPLE
Done! An easy and quick way to add a little holiday decor around your home.
